Communication and Exploitation Event

The event was a key component in ensuring that the project's advances were disseminated for future exploitation. Members of the advisory board and other representatives from industry were invited to attend. Presentations were given across two sessions; Field Test Facilities (CO2 Pipeline Transportation and CO2 Sequestration) and CCS Simulation Software. 2nd International Forum on Recent Developments of CCS Implementation
16th – 17th December 2015
Athens, Greece.
The 2nd CCS Forum was jointly organised by CO2QUEST and IMPACTS. The event built on the success of the 1st workshop that was held in March 2015. Over 60 delegates were in attendance, and 35 oral presentations were given across four technical sessions. A poster session was held in parallel. A Special Issue of the International Journal of Greenhouse Gas Control containing papers presented at this event will be published towards the end of 2016/early 2017.·Final Flyer

International Forum on Recent Developments of CCS Implementation

The CCS Forum was jointly organised by CO2QUEST and IoLiCAP. The event was intended to act as a vehicle for dissemination, with the wider goal of bringing those involved in the full spectrum of CCS activities together, to further international collaboration. CO2QUEST Technical Meeting

The first CO2QUEST technical meeting in association with FP-7 projects CO2PipeHaz, IMPACTS, OCTAVIUS, IoLiCAP, INERIS, PANACEA, TRUST, and MUSTANG, was held at University College London, UK. The event was sponsored by the UKCCSRC.

CO2QUEST Kickoff Meeting

A welcome and introduction to the CO2QUEST project by Prof. Haroun Mahgerefteh of UCL, and Dr. Vassilios Kougionas of the EC.
Presentations were made for each of the work packages, and discussion held regarding the initial collaborative steps to be taken in the start-up phase of the project. Administrative requirements and procedures were also covered.
